Juhannus

Juhannus is the longest day of the year in Finland or Midsummer. The name originates with St. John the Baptist whose “name day” is the same day. It is a national holiday in Finaldn. It’s a day of rest and relaxation and an opportunity to bask in the sun all the way until midnight – that is if you are in the Arctic Circle!

A perfect Juhannus includes a trip to a cottage in the wilderness, sausages, sauna, and a bonfire. Our Juhannus Midsummer event celebration starts at 5 PM with a dinner – your choice of salmon or meatballs and continues with live music from 6-8 PM.
