Planning and preparation for the 2026 Finnish American Folk Festival are well underway, and organizers are excited to bring another celebration of Finnish heritage and the Lower Columbia region to the community. Events of this size rely heavily on many helping hands, and volunteers play a vital role in making the festival a success.
Anyone interested in helping with the planning process is encouraged to reach out to festival chair Jennifer Boggs for more information or attend the group’s monthly meeting at Appelo Archive Center. The festival is also looking for individuals or groups willing to host display rooms or assist with traditional food demonstrations.
When the festival arrives, additional volunteers will be needed to help staff registration and merchandise tables, assist with the raffle, and help with decorating. If you are interested in being a volunteer, please contact info@nasellefinnfest.com.
Registration is also open for food and Tori vendors. Those interested in participating can find more information and sign up at nasellefinnfest.com.
The Finnish American Folk Festival will be held at Naselle School July 24–26, 2026.
